The lake water is usually VERY clear. If you intend to catch bream you should prepare ahead. Fish with 2 or 4 pound line and a very small hook and cork. A NO. 7 Carlisle hook is good or check in the trout department for small trout hooks and jigs. Bream will spawn when the water temperature gets 60. You can see their beds with polarized sun glasses. The beds look like the tops of a 55 gallon drum: dark on the outside and light in the middle. The males will move in and clean up the site and then females will move in and lay their eggs. The males will remain until the eggs hatch. The bream clear out a circular space to lay eggs and will try and remove your bait from the site. Bream fishing is best when they spawn. Bream spawn several times a year and usually around the full moon phase.
